You'll appreciate the original moldings, fireplaces and built-in furniture, requested by Mr. Pierre Mathieu-Bodet, Minister of Finance of the III rd Republic. Ideally located near Angoulême and the Charente valley, for swimming and hiking, and on the way to Cognac and the coast.
Ground Floor: breakfast room with access to beverages, dining room with bay windows, and living room with books, a piano, and a gramophone from 1904.
Upstairs:
Bedroom 4: 160x200 bed, private bathroom with toilet.
Bedroom 7: 160x200 bed, private bathroom with toilet.
Bedroom 8: 160x200 bed, private bathroom with toilet and balcony.
Bedroom 20, accessible via 2 steps down: 160x200 bed (or 2 80x200 beds), private bathroom with toilet.
Outdoors: one-hectare garden, patio furniture, 3 bicycles, parking, and an old, unsecured fishpond at the bottom of the garden. The area is not well-suited for kids.
Pets must be kept on a leash (both outdoors and indoors).
Close to the Flow Vélo and Scandibérique cycling routes.

AOL Une superbe nuit
Vrai coup de coeur pour cet endroit. Une pépite découverte sur gîte de France que je recommanderai 100 fois. Tout le château est décoré avec goût et les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit-déjeuner est plus que copieux et l'endroit paisible. Tout ce que nous souhaitions.
Merci aux deux hôtes pour leur accueil et bravo pour le travail effectué - le rendu est magnifique.
