About 300m from the Holiday cottage, on foot through the narrow streets, you'll find an excellent bakery, pastry shop, butcher's shop and a daily market well-stocked with fish and shellfish direct from the port of La Cotinière. Farm produce. Restaurant. Bicycle rental. Media library nearby. At the village entrance, pharmacy, medical center and supermarket. On foot or by bike, you'll discover Nicolas's donkeys as you continue through the vineyards and woods towards the Fromagerie, where you'll taste the best Pineau in moderation (don't forget the return journey). Nearest beaches 2km, 10mn by bike. The plane and TGV arrive in La Rochelle, where you can take the bus or Boat to the island. Cruises depart from Boyardville or St Denis d'Oléron to Ile d'Aix or La Rochelle (visit Fort Boyard). A free shuttle bus to the Beaches runs daily from Chéray.
