Jcg05 Our stay in rural Charente Maritime
Our stay at this Gîte will be a great memory for years to come.
When meeting the owner Pascal at the address provided. After a long car journey and slightly later than expected.He was frienedly,informative and put us at ease with his property. Showing us around and giving us all the information that is required for staying guests.Incuded was a few gifts which was very pleasing to us, a very nice touch. We settled in for the week's stay and enjoyed every moment of it. Visiting, exploring various places in Charante-Maritime. Being so close to the main road(N11) to La Rochelle made it very convenient. At the other end of the village was a new trading estate with various shops including a very nice supermarket plus a petrol station. Near by other villages are nice also. Overall the Gite is spacious, comfortable, clean with an amazing big bathroom/shower room( great shower) plus a nice kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. Outside space is ample with plenty of room for off street parking. Plus a nice garden with plenty of green space and the olive tree.
Thanks again to Pascal and Chantal for a very memorable enjoyable stay at their Gîte.Hope they have a great summer and hope to visit Ferrières some time in the future.

Hendriklau Tolles Ferienhaus, es fehlt an Nichts
Ein perfekt ausgestattes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung Nähe La Rochelle.
Es fehlt an Nichts, der Empfang, sogar eine Stunde vor der offiziellen Bezugszeit, war kein Problem; danke an den Besitzer.
Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Uns persönlich waren die Betten etwas zu hart aber das ist Geschmacksache.
Bei den ungewöhnlich hohen Temperaturen über 38 Grad wäre eine Klimanlage schön gewesen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.- Cleanliness
