Le Breuil-Magné is a village of 1,600 inhabitants 4 km from Rochefort S/Mer, where we have a spa for rheumatism, phlebology and dermatology. The village has a nature reserve where you can watch birds all year round. It's also a starting point for a wide range of walks and bike rides to the woods around the village, Rochefort or even Fouras, a seaside resort 12 km from the gîte. It's also a quiet little village with shops and a small Sunday morning market in the post office square 200 m from the gîte.

J'ai bientôt 75 ans, je suis aux Gîtes de France depuis plus de 40 ans. Je fais cette activité car j'aime bien recevoir les vacanciers et leur expliquer les curiosités de la région et leur faire connaître les spécialités régionales que l'on trouve sur les marchés environnants et lorsque les locataires sont intéressés, je leur donne des recettes de cuisine charentaise.
