Le Renclos, a property dating from the mid-19th century, comprises a manor house and outbuildings set in 4500m² of enclosed grounds planted with trees. It is located in a small village 18km from La Rochelle. The gîte, which is open all year round, occupies an old farmhouse that has been completely renovated, and boasts a large enclosed garden planted with trees, an orchard and a small vegetable garden (in season). The area is a wonderful playground for children. A swing and a playhouse are available. Situated 20 minutes from La Rochelle, Rochefort and the Marais Poitevin, it's the perfect place to discover the treasures of Charente-Maritime while enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Outside layout: - Unenclosed private garden and terrace on a large enclosed shared property (shared car access with the owner). - Parking possible for 2 vehicles on the property. - Charcoal barbecue and gas plancha. Facilities: - 9-hole golf practice 10km away. - A farmyard on the property.

Greg H Super séjour au calme, !
Le séjour était très bien, au calme tout en étantvpas très loin des plages et des lieux touristiques (la rochelle, rochefort, île d'aix etc...).
Possibilité d'aller à la rochelle en bus depuis Saint Christophe pour 5€ seulement (pass tribu de 1 à 5 personnes pour une journée en illimité) : génial pour éviter la voiture et payer les parkings à la rochelle.
Les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le jardin et nourrir les poules.Propriétaires très discret et accueillant.
Bref un séjour très agréable en tout point !

Probably the best cottage we have stayed at in France. Very welcoming hosts and a delightful location. The cottage was clean, beautifully furnished and decorated. We had a wonderful few days and will definitely be back again.

Prunelle Entre océan et marais
Très beau gite spacieux et décoré avec talent. Excellent accueil des propriétaires et des paons. Merci à eux d'avoir accepté nos deux chiens. Point de départ idéal pour se rendre à la Rochelle, à l'ile de Ré (je conseille le port de La Flotte), aux marais poitevin et à la plage de Châtelallion.

jb chouette gite très chaleureux et confortable
excellent accueil, gite très chaleureux et confortable . nous avons pu faire des feu de cheminée tous les soirs, c'est très agréable.
literie très confortable
gite accessible rapidement à de nombreux sites à visiter, très bien positionner tout en évitant la masse touristique.
point à améliorer : la puissance des ampoules ds le séjour nous a semblé trop puissante.
