LE GARDON

A rural holiday cottage fully renovated in 2026, located just 5 meters from the Charente River. The house is not suitable for kids because the riverbank (public property) is not secured. The Charente River is a Category 2 waterway, making it an ideal spot for anglers.

Interior layout:
On a raised ground floor (access via several steps):
- Kitchen/living room with a wood-burning stove (wood provided free of charge; a small supply is stored in a utility room).
- Separate toilet.
- Garage for bikes, motorcycles, and trailers.

Upstairs:
- Living room with a double sofa bed available as an extra bed at no extra charge.
- One bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190) opening onto a bathroom.

Outdoor amenities:
- The front yard is private but not fenced (approximately 10 m²); fishermen are, of course, welcome to pass through.
- Private patio furniture (please bring it inside when you leave the holiday cottage).
- One reserved private parking space in front of the holiday cottage.

Operating Details:
- Electricity and heating are billed based on meter readings.
- Beds are made on arrival.
- End-of-stay housekeeping is included.
