Housed in an outbuilding of the château to which it belongs, this gîte was long used as a cognac ageing cellar.
It boasts exceptional views over the meadows of the lower Charente valley and their wildlife (herons, egrets and storks).
It's just a stone's throw from the pretty town of Saint Savinien, with its 12th-century church and quayside on the banks of the Charente.
The gîte is located in the grounds of the château, close to the owner's house and gîte 17G51207.
