Our gite is located in a peaceful setting in the heart of La Rochelle's countryside, close to the Vélodyssée, a greenway for bicycles (11 kms from La Rochelle). The village of Dompierre-sur-Mer, with its various local shops and Sunday morning market, is 3 kms away. On-site farm sales (cheese, yoghurt, meat, fruit and vegetables) 3 days a week. You can hike and see storks, herons, deer and other animals.
