15 minutes from La Rochelle, Maryse and Jean-Pierre welcome you to their gîte, renovated in 2000. This traditional dwelling is one of the oldest in the commune, and has been in the family for 5 generations. The 3 previous generations hosted guests in this very specific Charentais house, with its very short south-facing roof, the owners' home, and its much longer north-facing roof, to accommodate the animals. The roof is covered with typical "tige de bottes" tiles. The volumes and plans are organized with the utmost simplicity. We'll be happy to advise you on places to visit in and around the region.

un séjour passé trop rapidement en famille, du soleil, un accueil chaleureux des propriétaires dans une maison familiale agréable et spacieuse où rien ne manque et chargé d'histoires. la maison est confortable et on aurait juste envie d'y rester plus longtemps. Un endroit stratégique pour visiter la région et ses îles à ne pas manquer.

Très bon séjour en famille! Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis de manière conviviale et nous ont fournis de très bons conseils sur la région et les visites à faire. Le gîte est très confortable (canapés un peu durs, mais rien de grave) et sa localisation (20 min de la plage, proche de commerce) nous convenaient parfaitement Nous sommes prêts à renouveler l'expérience
