Set in the grounds of a 17th-century château, in wooded surroundings, the former stables have been renovated to the highest standards, brilliantly combining contemporary design with the cachet of the past. Each room has its own private shower room and a view of the château grounds and nearby horses. You'll love the large, light-filled living room on the first floor, ideal for entertaining family, friends or business. Easy access via nearby main roads. The house has 7 spacious bedrooms, including one on the first floor, as well as a terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue for sunny days. Underfloor heating on the first floor and beautiful closed comtenporaine fireplace (wood supplied). Ample private parking in front of the Holiday cottage.

Phill Everything you Could Want From a Holiday Home
The house is perfect. It’s light and airy, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All of the bedrooms are a good size, very comfortable and have en suite facilities, whilst the master bedroom is vast. We were a group of ten, but a group of fourteen would have no problem staying here as the ground floor is large and open plan with plenty of room for dining around the large table and relaxing in front of the log fire in the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for large groups - two ovens, two dishwashers, a huge fridge (with another outside), large pots and pans, etc. There’s even a laundry room.
The setting is ideal. It’s very quiet and surrounded by a wood which has a lovely two-mile circular walk. The location is ideal. It’s a short drive into Rouen and the coastal delights of Honfleur and Deauville are only an hour away. One day we even took the train (1hr 15mins) from Rouen to Paris.
Any queries we had, the owner got back to us straight away.
We were there with a group of old (in every sense) friends, plus our son with our granddaughter (three and a half) who adored the place as much as the old fogies.
It is difficult to fault the place and because it’s so easy to get to from the U.K. - only two-hours from Calais - we’d certainly stay here again. But one piece of advice I would give, the freezer is located in the cupboard under the stairs!

Guy Le séjour parfait
De l'accueil par le fils du propriétaire à notre départ, tout s'est déroulé parfaitement. Nous étions réunis à 5 couples pour un mariage.
Le cadre très calme au milieu des arbres centenaires, ce gite présente un espace très convivial en bas avec cheminée et bois à disposition. Un espace cuisine très généreux en équipements, et des chambres très cosy avec chauffage individuel.
Que dire de plus, que de recommander vivement ce gite pour un séjour entre amis.

Een klein minpuntje : verlichting op sommige plaatsen, vooral de badkamer gelijkvloers (aan de spiegel) en weinig plaats om toiletgerief neer te zetten.
