A typical 17th-century Normandy Holiday cottage set between the Countryside and the Sea, in a serene setting where birdsong accompanies gentle sea breezes, guests will find a haven of peace where they can relax and reconnect with nature. The soothing rhythm of local life and the beauty of the Normandy landscape offer a timeless interlude. Proud of my roots, I'm committed to promoting the cultural heritage of our beautiful region. My accommodations reflect this deep attachment to Normandy, combining authentic charm, natural materials and eco-responsible management. En 1991, nous avons fait l'acquisition d'une ancienne ferme datant de 1680, un véritable témoin du XVIIe siècle. Nous avons entrepris sa restauration avec passion, en préservant son authenticité grâce à la pierre blanche, la brique de Saint-Jean, les colombages, ainsi que les traditionnels silex.
Dans les années qui ont suivi en 1997, nous avons transformé les dépendances en deux premiers gîtes, en respectant scrupuleusement les matériaux d'origine, notamment les poutres restaurées à l'identique. puis en 2003, nous avons ouvert le gîte du Puits, mitoyen mais indépendant de notre maison d'habitation. Nous avons également restauré une charmante petite maison à colombages de 23 m².
En 2020, durant le confinement, nous avons créé un cinquième gîte typique, construit avec des matériaux naturels : colombages, torchis, chaux, pierre et silex, dans le respect des traditions locales.
Notre jardin, un écrin de verdure de 10 000 m², est bordé de majestueux châtaigniers et enrichi de nombreux pommiers et arbres fruitiers. Chaque matin, le chant des oiseaux accompagne le réveil de nos hôtes, tandis que notre cheval, très apprécié des visiteurs, évolue paisiblement dans le parc.
Depuis maintenant 28 ans, nos gîtes accueillent des voyageurs venus des quatre coins du monde. Chaque rencontre est une source de joie et d'enrichissement, et nous sommes toujours aussi heureux de partager notre petit coin de paradis.

Family Basic gîte in rural surroundings
Charming two storey house adjacent to owner's home. Limited square meters. Amenities are dated (both bathroom and kitchen). No lounge (ground floor is basically a kitchen with dining table). You're a couple of minutes from a well stocked supermarket and about 20 minutes from the splendid Alabaster Coast.

We are sorry to read that you found the space in the house limited. This is a 56 square meter accommodation which is very popular with families of two adults and two kids, and it's true that for four adults and a big dog, the space might have felt more restricted. Nonetheless, you were able to enjoy the garden thanks to the weather during your stay.
As indicated in our online listing, the ground floor consists of a living room and kitchen area, with an open plan kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge with two armchairs and a sofa, suitable for four guests.
