Self-contained gite in a beautifully restored Normandy house.
You have access to a vast enclosed garden (3000m²) which adjoins a meadow occupied according to the season by animals (cows and heifers). It is enclosed by concrete posts and barbed wire. The garden features outdoor play equipment for children (swing set, tractors, bikes, scooter). Private terrace with barbecue, table and chairs, garden furniture and deckchairs. Visit the owners' dairy farm in the village on request: you can watch the cows being milked and the calves being fed.
Nearby attractions: Biotropica, Giverny, Poses locks, Boucles de la Seine.
Electric vehicle charging station for overnight charging (payable on site).
First floor:
- entrance into living room with beautiful Cauchoise fireplace,
- living room with linen sofa bed (very good quality bedding), 145cm backlit TV, games table that can be converted into a desk for telecommuting (close to Internet box),
- contemporary open-plan kitchen (3-burner induction hob, dishwasher, oven, combined microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, food processor) separated from the dining area by half-timbering: a French window gives direct access to the terrace and a beautiful, peaceful setting.
First floor:
- wc with washbasin,
- 1 bedroom with 3 beds 90x200cm and a small mezzanine: play area and reading area for children,
- 1 bedroom 2 beds 90x200cm, crib,
- 1 bedroom 1 double bed 160x200cm,
1/2 floor, accessible by descending a few steps:
- shower room with large walk-in shower 160x95cm, partitioned toilet, whirlpool bathtub

Ici c'est une affaire de famille, profitant du sens de l'accueil d'Edith et Marc, ses parents, Philippe ouvre aujourd'hui avec son épouse leur premier gîte dans le même soucis de qualité et d'attention aux détails. Agriculteur exploitant, il a eu a cœur de restaurer cette ancienne ferme de manière éco responsable. Passionné, il aime aussi de faire découvrir son métier d'éleveur laitier et les cultures de la région qui remplissent nos assiettes.

Très bonne expérience pour notre court séjour. Le logement est bien équipé, confortable et conforme à la description. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le grand salon, très convivial, ainsi que la qualité du couchage. Dave H Excellent hosts and a lovely gite
The gite was clean and warm in arrival and the instructions were clear. It is well equipped and in a lovely location. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. Our granddaughter loved feeding the baby cows.
The only improvement we could suggest was to the bed settee in the main lounge (where the TV is) which is quite uncomfortable. We managed with the one from the other room however.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend this gite and the owners.

The sofa in the downstairs living room is a sofa bed, but it's best used as an extra bed. We look forward to welcoming you back to France soon!

King Superb accommodation
Home from home.. high standard of accommodation very comfortable and quiet location. Very spacious. Nice outdoor area. Owner was very good answering any messages.
