Le Mêle-sur-Sarthe lies between the Perche and Normandie-Maine regional nature parks. This opens the door to the riches of the countryside and nature for those who enjoy discovering them (small villages, hiking trails and greenways, national forest).
The commune also boasts a vast lake with swimming, fishing, mini-golf and other leisure activities. A little further afield: equestrian center and karting circuit.

Our adjoining Holiday cottage is on the first floor of a restored farmhouse.

Nuala spacious
The gite was spacious & clean. It was very warm when we arrived. It would have been great if the windows had been opened to cool the place as it was in a loft. Kitchen well equipped if you wanted to cook for yourself.Investment in newer bed linen/towels would be a great upgrade. It was well located opposite supermarket patisserie and chemist. We found a very good kebab place down the street reasonable price, hygienic and friendly professional staff. We like the region/countryside of Normandy. We were glad of extra time given for checkout. The contact person responded quickly to questions.

MBG Vacances Sarthe
Très bon séjour gîte agréable literie confortable belle cuisine (la poêle est obsolète et trop grande, manque tiré bouchon ouvre boîte)la salle de séjour est très agréable, bon téléviseur, la douche fonctionne bien avec une bonne pression.
