In the heart of the Domfrontais bocage, what will you do? A country holiday with the 4-flower village of Saint Fraimbault, trout rivers and hiking trails. A gastronomic stopover with Poiré (pear cider) and the famous Calvados. Sporting exploits with canoeing at Torchamp, cycling on the greenways and climbing at Fosse Arthour. Discover the culture of Domfront, a medieval town and Petite Cité de Caractère, or Lassay les Châteaux. A bit of everything for a rejuvenating stay.
Old restored barn next to the owners.
Ground floor: living room with kitchenette.
First floor: living room (TV), bedroom (1 double bed, possibility of crib), bathroom with toilet (hydromassage shower).
Electric heating included.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Large shared garden. Cricket, racket and ball games. Charge for electric cars: €10 per day.
Tumble dryer in barn.

Phil & Susan Harrison ont acheté "La Poulinière" en Avril 2011 et ont déménagé définitivement en France en Aout 2012. Après avoir vécu près de Colchester, à Essex et travaillé localement puis à Londres pendant de nombreuses années, ils profitent maintenant de la retraite à la campagne en France. Leurs nouveaux défis : le jardinage à plus grande échelle, la course et le vélo dans les collines Ornais beaucoup plus grandes que dans l'Essex ! et profiter socialement d'évènements locaux, des visites, du cinéma et des soirées quizz.

Un très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires. Un beau panier gourmand à notre arrivée. Excellent séjour. Gîte spacieux, bien décoré avec un jardin clos et un spa à disposition. Très calme et verdoyant, idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer.
Notre chatte s'est parfaitement acclimatée et a bien profité des différentes vues.

Le petit jardin fermé idéal, un vrai petit paradis pour notre petit toutou !

Isa Great and complete gite
We stayed there for a week holiday. Phil and Susan welcomed us with a nice basket with tea, cookies, juice, a bread... really great! Too bad the living room is upstairs and no sofa in the kitchen downstairs (that is really the only thing 'negative'). We had our dog with us who doesn't climb stairs, so we stayed with her downstairs in the kitchen. House is fully equipped and the surroundings are nice.
