Lorsque le peintre Balias est arrivé dans l'Orne, il y a découvert un océan empli de vie et de culture, mais celle-ci demeurait cachée aux yeux du monde. Il créa donc l'association Art dans l'Orne afin de découvrir les talents de l'ombre. Durant vingt années, il travailla à faire jaillir une île de création dans ces eaux fécondes. Les événements se succédèrent : le Festival d'Art actuel, le Forum des métiers d'art, le Symposium de sculpture puis, plus récemment le Concours de peinture et le Swin-golf. Les fondations sont à présent achevées et le peintre grec se retire pour laisser place à la nouvelle équipe menée par son fils Ilios Balias.

    We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful secluded chateaux in it lovely grounds. The hostess was very welcoming and our room was lovely.
