Right next to the prefecture, the hamlet of La Monterie is ideal for a green getaway on the outskirts of the City. This rural setting is just 2.5km from St-Lô's shops and leisure facilities. On a plot of the old family farm, Béatrice and her husband have designed 2 light habitats for vacations or short stays. These 2 Unusual mobile homes offer all the comforts of a real Countryside apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedroom is large with a 160x200 bed, and the shower is comfortable. Each Holiday cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the green valley. Hiking routes are numerous and you can venture from one coast to the other for beautiful excursions between Manche and Calvados. Outside the summer season, Nicolas offers music courses (to be booked with the owners).

Large mobile home comprising living room (TV, wifi internet) with fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine) and dining area. 1 bedroom (double bed 160X200) with TV and private bathroom (toilet, vanity unit and shower cubicle).     Un endroit reposant et agréable

    Bonjour Madame,Monsieur,
    Ce séjour fut très sympathique et agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la propriétaire. Très à l’écoute et serviable. L’endroit est vraiment charmant et reposant. Le confort est de mise .Tout est prévu pour qu’on s’y sente bien. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et réactifs . Nous les en remercions . Cordialement

    Idyllic in every way

    Our 5 day stay was not enough! My husband and I could not believe how quiet and calm La Source was, with the most incredible panoramic views for miles across the valley.
    Our delightful hosts are certainly proud of their 'Chalet' which was spotlessly clean, top quality furniture and bathroom/kitchen appliances. So much care has gone in to making one's stay a special time. We were given hen eggs and Apple juice from the Orchard. Even Chocolate bunnies as it was Easter week!
    Comments:- Lots of parking. Good directions to get there. (St Lo not far with the most incredible Market on a Saturday).
    Big decking area with modern screening if you want to use it. Table and comfy chairs to sit with a glass of wine (French) to relax in the evening. Chickens, Goats and Ponies in the Paddock.
    As my subject says Idyllic. Clearly we will be returning before long. MERCI B et N.

    Les Petites Maisons de La Monterie

    Rien à dire sur mon séjour mis à part que j'ai eu droit à un accueil chaleureux, ce gîte se trouve au calme entouré de chevaux, vaches, poules et chèvres ce qui rappel bien la campagne dans toute sa splendeur. Un calme absolu qui fait du bien et qui permet de se ressourcer. A proximité tout ce qu'il faut zone commerciale pour les courses. Séjour vraiment au top et les accueillants vraiment très gentils. A refaire lors de mon prochain passage
