Eculleville is a little jewel of authenticity and a paradise for holidaymakers in search of peace and quiet. Just one small road leads to this village of around 30 inhabitants, protected by the small, overhanging church of St Martin. At the top of the hamlet, Yves' former family farm is now a cosy gîte ready to welcome you. Together with his wife Annie, they have restored the house to its former glory: the old fireplace with its astonishing double-scrolled corbels, the cement tiles and the old kitchen garden take you back to a time when time passed slowly. At the top of the grounds, you'll admire the view of the typical roofs and the sea in the background. Discover the sunken lanes and the beauty of the shoreline by hiking the many signposted paths on the peninsula.
Semi-detached house with two dwellings. Ground floor: kitchen opening onto living room (induction hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine). Living room (TV, DVD player, radio CD/mp3 player). Bathroom with toilet. Bedroom 1 (bed 140x190). Boiler room laundry room (washing machine). 1st floor: bedroom 2 triple with 2 rooms (bed 140x190 and bed 90x190), bedroom 3 triple (bed 160x200 + bed 90x190). Bathroom with toilet. Baby equipment on request. Wifi internet access. Internet TV. Bed linen provided and Beds made on arrival. Cleaning service extra. Bathroom linen not provided. Les propriétaires n'ont pas pu nous accueillir le jour J mais nous avons eu la chance de faire la connaissance de Christian qui est une personne charmante et bienveillante.
Le gîte est situé dans un petit village en mitoyenneté mais l'environnement est très clame. Le logement est grand, bien équipé et très fonctionnel pour une famille.
La cuisine est petite mais bien équipée et fonctionnelle.
A l'étage les chambres sont spacieuses et joliment rénovées.
Le jardin est bien entretenu et spacieux.
Il ne manque qu'un petit barbecue et l'ensemble serait parfait!
