Hikers are invited to explore the many sunken paths in the surrounding bocage (signposted on site), unless you'd like to ride your horse in this region where the horse is king (haras de St Lô). The village is the birthplace of a modest family, the Hautevilles, who left in the Middle Ages to found a powerful kingdom in Sicily and southern Italy. A free Museums is open all summer.
