Situated at the entrance to Valognes, a city of Art and History, this imposing pavilion benefits from a large landscaped plot of 1500m². Chantal warmly welcomes you to this fully renovated house, now shared with tourists and itinerants, with 5 pastel-toned bedrooms. The wellness area in the basement is a great place to unwind at the end of the day, whether after a day's work or a day on the road. A hearty breakfast is served in the pretty, light-filled dining room or, weather permitting, on the terrace overlooking the garden. Nicknamed "the little Versailles of Normandy", Valognes boasts a wealth of architectural gems and is perfectly positioned between Cherbourg and Ste Mère Eglise (18km between the 2). The property is in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the aquatic center opening in May 2024. In another life, Chantal has spoiled the taste buds of many guests and will be delighted to invite you to her table (reservation required).
On the ground floor of this large pavilion, the "Ecoute s'il pleut" bedroom (bed 160x200) has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The spacious "Alauna" room (bed 160x200) has a private bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, the "Venise du Cotentin" bedroom (bed 140x190) is configured with an en-suite shower room and open private wc. The "Versailles Normand" bedroom and its corridor face south. Bed 160x200. Private shower room and toilet. The spacious "Bourg Fleury" room has a private shower room and toilet. All rooms are equipped with internet (fiber), TV and courtesy tray. Bathrobes and flip-flops are provided for free use of the basement relaxation area (Spa and Sauna). Free access to the owners' lounge and garden. Private parking lot. Electric charging point (extra charge). Chantal offers a table d'hôte dinner service by reservation only on Sunday and Monday evenings.

Notre séjour à l'Echappée belle a été fantastique.
Le B&B Echappée Belle mérite 10 épis !
Un accueil chaleureux, le top de ce qu'on peut attendre d'un accueil en chambre d'hôtes : La chambre complètement équipée. Le petit déjeuner aussi bien soigné et complet. La table d’hôte : un restaurant étoilé ! Les conseils touristiques, etc…
Le B & B est très bien situé à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village. D’autre part la ville de Valognes est si bien située que l'on peut visiter tout le beau département de la Manche avec un minimum de kilomètres.
Nous avons passé une semaine excellente. Un bijou de logement !!! Un grand merci Chantal et Anthony, nous recommandons.

L'accueil de Chantal et Anthony a été parfait. De longues discussions ont accompagné un délicieux repas. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. La chambre était parfaite et la literie confortable.Merci pour cette soirée, même si nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du jacuzzi. Daniel Christiane

Accueil très chaleureux - sensation de bien être "comme à la maison" - Propriétaires attentionnés et bons conseillers en fonction de nos centres d'intérêts. Chambre très confortable (lumineuse, spacieuse, bonne literie...).

Les Havrais Excellenbt séjour
L'accueil de Chantal et Anthony a été parfait et les discussions très intéressantes.
La chambre était très propre, grande salle de bain, literie impeccable, au calme bref parfaite
Le petit déjeuner exquis (produit frais) et au calme
Et que dire du sauna et jacuzzi, un vrai bonheur et surtout gratuit et privatif!!
Un petit coin de paradis que nous n'hésiterons pas à occuper de nouveau
