Situated at the entrance to Valognes, a city of Art and History, this imposing pavilion benefits from a large landscaped plot of 1500m². Chantal warmly welcomes you to this fully renovated house, now shared with tourists and itinerants, with 5 pastel-toned bedrooms. The wellness area in the basement is a great place to unwind at the end of the day, whether after a day's work or a day on the road. A hearty breakfast is served in the pretty, light-filled dining room or, weather permitting, on the terrace overlooking the garden. Nicknamed "the little Versailles of Normandy", Valognes boasts a wealth of architectural gems and is perfectly positioned between Cherbourg and Ste Mère Eglise (18km between the 2). The property is in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the aquatic center opening in May 2024. In another life, Chantal has spoiled the taste buds of many guests and will be delighted to invite you to her table (reservation required).
On the ground floor of this large pavilion, the "Ecoute s'il pleut" bedroom (bed 160x200) has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The spacious "Alauna" room (bed 160x200) has a private bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, the "Venise du Cotentin" bedroom (bed 140x190) is configured with an en-suite shower room and open private wc. The "Versailles Normand" bedroom and its corridor face south. Bed 160x200. Private shower room and toilet. The spacious "Bourg Fleury" room has a private shower room and toilet. All rooms are equipped with internet (fiber), TV and courtesy tray. Bathrobes and flip-flops are provided for free use of the basement relaxation area (Spa and Sauna). Free access to the owners' lounge and garden. Private parking lot. Electric charging point (extra charge). Chantal offers a table d'hôte dinner service by reservation only on Sunday and Monday evenings.

Merci à Chantal et Antony pour la belle échappée que nous avons vécue lors de notre séjour à Valognes. Votre maison est idéalement située pour explorer le nord Cotentin. La chambre était d'une propreté irréprochable, très confortable. Le jacuzzi est appréciable après une journée bien remplie. Vos petits déjeuners copieux nous ont donné l’énergie nécessaire pour démarrer chaque journée avec enthousiasme.
Nous avons particulièrement aimé la table d’hôte et les plats normands de Chantal, qui a été l’occasion de rencontrer des personnes venues de toutes régions de France. Un grand merci à Antony pour sa recette et la sélection des boissons.- Cleanliness

Bob Hôte et gîte d exception
Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour ds le cotentin que nous ne connaissions pas. Chantal et Antony ont été de bons conseils. Valognes est très bien situé pour faire et la côte ouest et la côte est du cotentin. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Petit déjeuner copieux. Après avoir vagabondés tte la journée quel plaisir de se détendre dans le jaccuzzi. Lieu zen et détente assurée ! Ensuite la table d hôtes est remarquable. Chantal sait faire plaisir et est attentionnée. Dîner copieux que nous conseillons avec des Spécialités de la région dont une surprise qu Anthony aime partager! Je ne vous en dis pas plus...à découvrir. Merci pour ces moments partagés avec tous.

Chambre spacieuse, parking motos dans la cours.
accueil chaleureux, disponible pour nous, très bel échanges avec nos hôtes.
Dommage que nous ayons raté la table d'hôte et son ambiance.

Sejour tres agreable a l echapee belle, accueil chaleureux , chantal et anthony sont des hotes adorables et tres sympatiques qui sont de bons conseils .La chambre est spacieux tres tres propre , decoree avec gout,la table d hote est un delice, le petit dejeuner est copieux et varie, je recommande vivement cette location , si nous devons retourner dans le cotentin nous reserverons chez eux , sejour inoubliable jean claude et sandrine
