It's hard to resist this charming, typical Cotentin façade! With its dormer windows, pretty symmetry and paved driveway, this house is a real invitation to set down your suitcases at this end of the world. Inside, the soft white tones and bright light give a pleasant feeling of space and well-being. The large veranda at the rear is a dining room opening onto a private green setting. This intimate setting is ideal for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The paths around the gîte offer superb panoramic views over this land of market gardening, with the sea always in the background, between the tip of Barfleur and the bay of St Vaast la Hougue.

Molly A wonderful oasis in the Cotentin countryside
If you are looking for a very quiet and peaceful location, then this property is perfect. The detached property has its own well maintained walled garden and a very pleasant and large conservatory. The property was spotless and very comfortable. There are no amenities in the immediate area but you are only a 10 minute drive from Barfleur (which is gorgeous) and a couple of minutes further takes you to La Sambiere beach, a beautiful beach perfect for swimming. Saint Vaast la Hougue is a 20 minute drive, and has a wonderful market. There are several other interesting places to visit within short driving time.
Celine and Nicolas were welcoming and helpful. I speak French to a basic level and I was able to communicate comfortably with Celine. She is patient and speaks at a reasonable pace. I found her easy to understand.
If you're at all interested in birds then this is a very good spot. In the garden I had sightings of bullfinch, redstart and cirl bunting - the latter a first for me. Birdsong in the garden was very special
There are two locations to park a car. The entrance to both is a little narrow. I have a Skoda Octavia and managed both without difficulty, but for a bigger vehicle it would be challenging. Both car parking places are entirely off the road and safe.
If you want your tense shoulders to drop, then this is the place for you!!

Nico et Fab H Très beau séjour
Très beau gite, lumineux et confortable que nous avons attendu longtemps car il est souvent complet. Une très belle région redécouverte après 35 ans et une météo clémente malgré les prévisions. Un grand MERCI aux propriétaires pour leur sens de l'accueil, leur gentillesse et leurs attentions. Nous recommandons vivement.

Le séjour commence par un accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire.
Le gîte est très agréable, bien conçu, confortable, propre, bien équipé, avec une véranda hyper sympa, et un beau petit jardin.
Une fois les valises posées, il n'y a plus qu'à profiter de ce chouette nid du Cotentin, et de découvrir la région que ne manque pas de trésors.

nous nous sommes bien adapté à ce gîte dès le début, la propriètaire est une personne très agrèable , très souriante et accueillante.
le gîte à tout ce dont vous avez besoin, une belle veranda ou malgré un temps médiocre, nous avons pu manger dans une bonne ambiance, la propreté est au rendez vous,la literie est agréable, je recommande ce gîte sans problème !! cerise sur le gâteau, le calme absolu pour une bonne semaine de repos, allez y...- Cleanliness
