The house owes its name to the superb chestnut tree that dominates the garden. 10 km from the renowned seaside resort of Barneville Carteret and the surf spot of Sciotot cove. With its vast beaches and leafy countryside, the region abounds in magnificent viewpoints and hiking trails. Stéphane and Delphine have renovated the former house of this family farmhouse to create this spacious and comfortable guest room, with its own entrance. Upstairs, suite comprising bedroom (bed 160), independent living room with very comfortable BZ sofa (140), and bathroom. Baby cot. Free for children under 3. Private kitchen available to guests. Pets accepted under certain conditions. 3 pers. : 105€. 4 pers. : 130 €.

Excellent in every way - the charming host Stephane, the delightful and spacious bedroom . A well equipped kitchen and a sitting room complete the space available to the guests. Beautifully decorated in a relaxing colour and spotlessly clean.

C&JC Notre séjour de 5 jours au Marronier en sept 2025
En voyage dans la belle région de Normandie, nous avons séjourné au Marronnier pendant 5 jours. L'accueil fut très agréable. Une belle découverte pour les extérieurs et l'aménagement des pièces à notre disposition. La propreté est parfaite. Le design de l'intérieur est excellent, harmonieux, clair, confortable, très agréable... Nos discussions à bâton rompu étaient, chaque jour, un plaisir. Nous recommandons l'accueil de Stéphane et le plaisir du Marronnier aux futurs visiteurs de Normandie.
