This is one of the most remarkable villages on the Hague peninsula. Here, time seems to stand still... The panorama is charming: against the blue backdrop of the sea, the low walls, fences and hedges so characteristic of this end of the world stand out. It's an invitation to go for a walk, if only to discover the church where Roman Polansky filmed Tess, winner of the 1980 César for Best Film. The charm also extends to the interior of this cosy, personally decorated house, with its many sea views. Escape guaranteed!
Detached house. Ground floor: Entrance hall. Fitted kitchen (induction, dishwasher, oven, microwave, espresso machine). Living room with pellet stove (€8 per bag), TV, fiber-optic Internet, telephone, DVD player and stereo. Old piano in poor working order and out of tune. Shower room. WC. Upstairs, bedroom with Sea view (1 bed 140 and 1 baby bed) accessed by a charming but steep stone staircase. A second staircase leads to 2 other sleeping areas: Chambre verte (2 beds 90) and Chambre bleue (2 beds 130). Baby equipment. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Bed linen and towels provided. Beds made on arrival. End-of-stay cleaning service at extra charge. Electric heating extra. Unenclosed private grounds. Independent garden with Sea view. Private courtyard. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Parking space. Shed. Pets allowed on ground floor only.

Originaire d'Eculleville, je suis très attachée à ce village . Nous avons restauré avec cœur cette maison dans l'esprit des maisons traditionnelles de la Hague. Elle est un havre de bonheur et de paix. J'espère que vous apprécierez comme nous ses qualités et comme rien n'est parfait, ses défauts aussi !

Positiv für uns:
Wunderschöner Garten, schönes Haus in traumhafter Lage (Meerblick aus Garten, Küche, Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer), Jugendstilklavier (nur leicht verstimmt, ich habe viel gespielt)
Einkaufsmöglichkeit / Pizzaautomat (!) nur 3 km, gute Matratzen, Fenster in Bad und Fenster in separatem WC (plus aktive Lüftung), Garten für Hund trotz teilweise fehlender Einzäunung ziemlich ausbruchsicher und keine größere Straße im Umkreis, nette VermieterinNicht ganz so toll:
Küche für Selbstkocher recht einfach ausgestattet, die Steintreppe und auch die Holztreppe in die jeweiligen Schlafbereiche im OG sind wirklich steil (für wenig fitte Senioren und kleine Kinder eher nicht geeignet), in den beiden oberen (nicht.verbundenen) Etagen gibt es kein WC.
Das untere Stockwerk ist recht dunkel und die Luftfeuchtigkeit wie in vielen Häusern dieser Art recht hoch.- Cleanliness

Vielen Dank für diesen sehr realistischen und relevanten Kommentar. Die Beschreibung war gut, außer dem Wetter, das natürlich mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit einhergeht. Ich hoffe, Sie hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt, das ist uns sehr wichtig.

Koen, Belgique Authentique
Très agréable gîte avec jardin romantique dans un beau coin inconnu de La France. Il faut y aller car on ne passera jamais. La côte y est sauvage, idéal pour gouter l'aventure et le gîte est bien situé pour atteindre la mer vite ainsi que visiter entièrement le cap. Recommandé.

Gilles Gîte très agréable
Le gîte est agréable, on s'y sent bien à l'intérieur et le jardin donne l'envie d'y venir l'été. Il est très bien situé, belle vue, proche de la mer et au calme. Autant de promenades et de visites que d'envies. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Prévoir tout de même de bon pull en pleine hivers, c’est la Hague dans une maison ancienne.
Nous y avons passé un très bon moment, merci à la propriétaire pour son souci de notre bien-être. Et qui comme moi-même est très attaché à la région, ce qui apporte toujours un plus...- Cleanliness

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de mettre ce bel avis . Il est vrai que vous n'avez pas été trop gâtés avec le temps : pluie et vent mais heureusement vous avez pu voir plein d'oiseaux et votre passion d'ornithologue a été assouvie.
