Your stay within the castle itself won’t be long enough to fully appreciate this splendid fortified house, which is listed as a Historic Monument. The pinnacles, turrets, and chimneys—all adorned with schist—create a unique architectural style and are undoubtedly one of the finest examples of 15th- and 16th-century architecture. The small chapel nearby is a masterpiece in its own right, a surviving relic of the Middle Ages. Lovers of heritage and history will be delighted.
