Alice and Christian have renovated the dwelling that once housed the painting studio of a grandfather who was inspired by the calm of the place. This is now the large triple bedroom where the children will have plenty of room to play. The second bedroom is also very spacious, with a small boudoir where the more studious can isolate themselves. The living room is very authentic, with its monumental fireplace. The village of Orval is halfway between Coutances, the episcopal city with its cathedral, and the sandy beaches.
