Just a few minutes from the beach and the coast of Les Havres, Pirou is a village in central Manche, the ideal starting point for visiting the department and its tourist attractions (1h from Mont-Saint-Michel, 50 min from the D-Day landing beaches, 1h from Cherbourg). Pirou is also renowned for its fortified castle and its famous Norman legend, which is said to have allowed the Lord and his family to transform themselves into geese, with the help of a grimoire, to escape attackers. There's also the traditional whelk fair, a springtime event that showcases local seafood products.
The house is oriented to take advantage of sunny days, thanks to its large garden and terrace.

J&I Pays Bas Excellent stay / Séjour très agreáble
The house is very spacious and very well equiped. Everything is as good as new. Shutters and tilt and turn windows in all rooms, which is very nice for airing at night. The beds are new and comfortable. Bathroom with sink and Walk-in Shower is perfect. Kitchen is equiped with everyting you can think of for preparing a tasteful and extensive meal. Vast, sunny garden with nice plants and flowers. Lawn is mowed every day by a Robot Tondeuse. If you love a quiet neighbourhood and many, at low tide, endless quiet beaches at your doorstep, this certainly is the place to be! The owners are nice welcoming young people who are visibly proud of and careful with their property. We had a very nice, sunny and relaxed stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home.
