Vincent and his wife fell under the spell of this imposing residence, once the farm of the neighboring château, and carefully designed this comfortable, contemporary gîte. They gave pride of place to the living room and its spaciousness, and let the light flood in. As a result, the midnight-blue kitchen appears larger, and makes the most of the beautiful stone wall. The walkway over the living room leads to 2 bright bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, ensuring perfect privacy for 2 couples, for example. The house has 2 terraces, one on the south-east side to enjoy the sun and the shared courtyard, and the second on the other side offering a pleasant view over the meadows and the old castle driveway with its hundred-year-old oak trees. Just 500m from the greenway, you can go hiking to discover Carentan or Mont Castre, and why not go horseback riding, as the gîte has a private stall for your horse.
