As you turn down a sunken lane, you'll come across this old bread oven, which brands the entrance to this pretty property nestled in a peaceful valley. The beautiful landscaped grounds, south-westerly exposure and charm of the Holiday cottage are all assets for making the most of the surrounding countryside. The use of natural materials and soft colors create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. In the immediate vicinity of the prefectural town and its national stud farm. The owner is a caterer and can deliver breakfasts and dinners using fresh, local produce (on request and at extra cost). A second 8-person Holiday cottage on the estate. A reception room is planned for 2027.

Detached house. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave). Bathroom. Half-bath with laundry area (washer, dryer). Living room with wood pellet stove. Heating via wood pellet stove. (3 bags of wood pellets provided free of charge). Internet access. No television. On the 1st floor: mezzanine (3 beds 90x190), a half-bath, and a bedroom (bed 160x200). Baby bed and high chair. Bed linen and towels provided and beds made on arrival. Linen supplied. Housekeeping service available for an additional fee. Private, unfenced property. Wooden deck.     Schönes Häuschen - antiker Charme, trotzdem modern

    Das Häuschen ist wundervoll renoviert. Es hat den Charme eines alten Gemäuers behalten und ist trotzdem sehr modern ausgestattet.

    Der Empfang durch den Vermieter war - trotz später Ankunft - sehr freundlich und persönlich. Auch ein kleiner "regionaler" Gruß wartete auf uns.

    Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

    Très bon séjour chez Mireille et Samuel

    Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le gîte de Mireille et Samuel.
    Le gîte est très confortable, bien équipé, avec une bonne literie.
    A noter qu'il y des toilettes également à l'étage, dans la salle d'eau.
    Moyennant frais supplémentaires, Mireille peut nous concocter de trés bons petits déjeuners où tout est fait maison, le pain, les viennoiseries, les confitures, les yaourts, le jus de pommes, ... (a commander à l'avance).

    Wonderful

    Wonderful stay during the first two weeks of June 2026. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the "old" house, but it was very comfortable. Clean, good beds, roomy bedroom, decent kitchen, nice pellet burner for the chilly evenings, plenty of parking space. The location is somewhat secluded so the surroundings are very quiet. That said, the Normandy beaches, Mont Saint Michel, Bayeux & Caen are all within easy reach. Fresh rolls/croissants are only a few minutes away (by car). We had a super holiday; highly recommended!

    Grande marée

    Super petit gîte dans un havre de paix et de nature. Accueil génial, proprietaires excellents. Gentils, discrets, tres aimables et tres attentionnés. Même le chien est super dans ce havre de verdure. Un seul petit bémol à mon goût, il manque une TV.
    Gîte à recommander vivement aux amoureux du calme et de la nature.
