Bon sens et simplicirte
4/5C'est un gite ou nous devons nous reporter 30 ans en arriere,C'est vintage ...... La nostalgie des années 1990 voir plus vous satisfera. L'essentiel est là sans superflu et sans pour autant omettre les technologies récentes (wifi, bluetooth etc ). L'espace est bien réparti et le jardinet est extra.Proximité d'un Leclerc a 5klms, un environnement champêtre; un silence reparateur, que demande le peuple?

Great little hideaway
5/5The gite is ideal for a quiet getaway. I went on my own with my dog and it was perfect, even if the weather was a touch on the rainy side. The main bedroom is simple but cosy (and has antique baby's cot if you need) while the upper bedroom which looks out over the fields that roll down towards the Coutances-St Lo road has a skylight which brings in the morning light, and a desk - so a good place to write your novel or for the teen offspring to do their homework. The main room downstairs is also cosy, all the more so when you light up the log fire. Wifi is strong, the bathroom/toilet are grand. Not fancy but everything works which is fine by me. The village, which is pretty ancient in its roots, has a charm but the drawback is that it has no heart. There is no cafe, boulangerie, epicerie, bar in the village. On a practical level this is not a crisis as Coutances is just 5k away but this absence of a commercial hub of any sort does rob the village of vitality. Don't expect to see anyone other than your hosts who are charming and helpful. If you have a dog there is a good walk along the old railway line -- which takes you all the way to Cherbourg if you need to get your steps in (it's about 60k). And of course you are close to Coutances, with its truly magnificent cathedral, and some glorious beaches. It suited me very well and I hope to return. Bon voyage.

Le gite est très agréable et confortable.
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine .
Le gite est bien placé. proche de Coutances pour les courses ,on y est vite.

5/5Ce gite est situé dans une petite commune très calme et proche de Coutances pour les courses. Nous avons été très bien accueilli le gite répondait à tous nos critères : calme, tranquilité commodité confort....
Les propriétaires sont très acceuillant et disponibles. Le gite est idéalement placé pour visiter la Manche et reste proche des côtes.
