Pretty little roads covered in foliage will lead you to l'Orée des bois, an adorable half-timbered cottage in the middle of the Normandy bocage. In the peace and quiet of this Forest-fringed hamlet, Véronique and Philippe have created a cocoon entirely dedicated to vacations and disconnection: just sit back and enjoy! Right from the garden, fully enclosed for your peace and quiet, you'll be charmed: a beautiful space all to yourself surrounded by greenery, sunbathing, furniture for your meals al fresco and on the terrace-pergola a real relaxation lounge where you're sure to spend lots of good times under the song of the birds ... or the frogs from the nearby pond. In summer, the ponies from the village riding school will be your neighbors. The interior of the house is comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully furnished: a real kitchen where you can take the time to prepare delicious meals, a living room where you can relax by the fire, cosy bedrooms, a warm decor, games and toys... Leisure facilities include games and a pétanque court. You'll love the little lanes all around where you can stroll, why not as far as Pont-Audemer, the little Venice of Normandy, 5 km away, with its canals, old half-timbered houses and picturesque streets. The coast and Honfleur are only 30 km away, and the exceptional Marais Vernier and its nature reserve 9 km. The owners live next door and will be happy to advise you on your visits.

Ground floor: entrance to living room with wood-burning stove, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen. The room opens directly onto the covered terrace. Bright bathroom with large shower, vanity unit and washing-machine area. Separate toilet. Upstairs, on one side a lovely, warm attic bedroom with a large 160x200 double bed and a rocking chair for relaxing, and on the other a small green bedroom with 2 single beds, perfect for 2 Kids. On the garden side, you'll enjoy a lovely private area of approx. 500 m², fully enclosed (wire fencing), with a shallow stream (approx. 2 m deep) leading to the water-lily pond, which is fully fenced in. The wooden terrace is covered by a pergola that houses a real lounge. Next to it, your garden dining area and 4 comfortable sun loungers for a nap under the parasol. On the other side of the road, you'll find a shared paddock with a pétanque court, and an orchard near the pond (fully enclosed). Badminton, molkky and darts are also available. Horse-riding on grassland is available on request. City stadium in the village, canoeing and Base de loisirs in Pont-Audemer, Hiking trails on site. Farm products in the village 2 km away.
