A small, charming gîte in the heart of a typical Norman village and landscape.

Winding Countryside roads through the bocage countryside lead you to this charming village, with its colorful half-timbered houses and wash-house. At its heart, Pressoir St Christophe is a real Norman postcard, with its traditional timber-framed buildings, apple orchard and pastures where sheep, horses, geese and chickens roam. In this bucolic atmosphere, Le Grenier is a small, friendly Holiday cottage fitted out like a large, bright loft. Nathalie and Mathieu wanted it to be warm and welcoming, in keeping with the character of this old outbuilding with its stone walls, old beams and terracotta floor tiles, with a strong emphasis on wood and warm colors. The decor is successful and the comfort is there! You'll love the tree-lined garden, with 2 terraces to make the most of it, one for outdoor meals facing the village, the other under the awning on the orchard side for relaxation.

Holiday cottage arranged as a large studio on 2 levels. Ground floor: bright, warm living room with terracotta floor tiles, flint walls and exposed beams: dining area, living room (connected TV) with pellet stove and equipped kitchen. Utility room. The spiral staircase leads to the open-plan first floor, with a double bed (160x200) on one side and 2 Bunk beds and a desk on the other, the 2 spaces separable by a curtain; library and board games. Separate shower room and toilet. Garden level with terrace and deckchairs facing apple orchard and sheep. Leisure facilities include a hammock, swing, pétanque bowls (in the village), rackets, molkky, and a visit to the animals in the house. A warm welcome from Nathalie & Mathieu, who will be delighted to talk to you about their skills (workshops by prior arrangement): Nathalie will show you around her soap factory and Mathieu will tell you all about his honey production. Equestrian facilities available. Also a second Holiday cottage (studio) on the property.
