A lovely little corner of the countryside close to the Seine valley and its sumptuous panoramas, a quiet village full of charm, and this superb gîte, a real favorite! The house is full of character, traditional with its half-timbered walls, bricks and flint, overlooking a large landscaped garden enclosed by hedges, generously planted with flowers in fine weather. Inside, there's plenty of space and a warm, trendy decor, starting with the large, pretty living room of almost 60m², brightly lit by its light tones of gray, beige and white and its whitewashed or contemporary wooden furniture: a lovely space both in summer, with its wide opening onto the garden, and in winter, in the cosy living room in front of the wood-burning stove. Nearby, Les Andelys and the Seine valley are inescapable, as is the more secretive Andelle valley as far as Lyons la Forêt. And plenty of walks all around! Bread machine 2 minutes' walk away. Ground floor: large living room with dining area, original living room with wood-burning stove and bow window, and modern, well-equipped kitchen (food processor, waffle maker, raclette set) with large bay window opening onto the garden. Large bedroom with double bed (160x200) and private bathroom with large walk-in shower. Also wc/laundry room. Upstairs, 2 communicating bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) with lovely views over the garden or the pretty church square. Separate bathroom and toilet. Staircase a little steep, with handrail. Board games and books (children, teenagers). The 1300 m² garden is fully hedged and fenced. There's a lovely terrace in front of the gîte for meals, and a second, more secluded terrace with garden furniture ideal for relaxing. A small, protected waterhole with water lilies and frogs. Covered shelter for games, sheltered meals, bikes, motorcycles or small car.
