Between the Countryside du Neubourg and the Roumois country, you'll be charmed by this little corner of the bocage, its villages with their characteristic churches and its innumerable ponds. On her property with its vast landscaped garden, Nadia has cleverly converted this former stable into an elegant half-timbered house full of charm: the place is adorable and seems cut off from the world. Everything has been designed with your comfort in mind, in a Countryside chic atmosphere that creates a warm and welcoming ambience: a beautiful living room with exposed beams and half-timbered ceilings overlooking nature, an ideal vantage point for spying on the squirrels' antics, two pretty bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is original with its lion's foot bath overlooking the garden, and Nadia's warm, attentive welcome. Nearby, the meandering Seine valley, the Champ de Bataille and its exceptional gardens, the charming villages of Harcourt and its château and Le Bec Hellouin.
Entrance on the first floor leads to a lovely living room with kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area: the room is warm and welcoming with its half-timbered walls and exposed beams, and original with its bay windows behind the half-timbered walls opening onto the garden. Laundry/storage area, leading on the left to a beautiful bathroom with lion-foot bathtub and wide opening onto the garden, and on the right to a shower room with toilet. On the first floor, you'll find a landing with a real study area and a 120x190 bed that can be closed with curtains for greater privacy. Two bedrooms: the blue one and the red one, each with a 140x190 double bed. Wc with washbasin. Large landscaped garden of 5000 m², enclosed by fencing and hedges, on the owners' land, with an unprotected pond. Portico, badminton, table tennis, a real lounge and dining area, deckchairs. Parking for up to 2 cars.

Propriétaires très accueillants, parfait pour découvrir la region ou juste profiter de la nature. La balançoire a été le gros point fort pour notre fille.

Cricri & Nico Un havre de paix au cœur de la campagne normande
Nous avons passé un séjour absolument charmant dans ce gîte plein de caractère. L’endroit est idéal pour se ressourcer, au cœur d’un paysage de campagne normande verdoyant et paisible. La maison, une ancienne écurie superbement restaurée, allie authenticité et confort moderne : les pans de bois, les poutres apparentes et les grandes baies vitrées donnant sur le jardin créent une ambiance chaleureuse et apaisante.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité du lieu et la beauté de la nature environnante.Un grand merci à Mme LANGLOIS LAFAYE, notre hôte, pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité. Elle a su rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable par ses attentions et ses conseils sur la région (visite du Bec Hellouin, château du Champ de Bataille, etc.).
En résumé : un lieu plein de charme, idéal pour se déconnecter et profiter d’un cadre bucolique. Nous repartons reposés et enchantés !

Frantz Excellent séjour
Super séjour passé au gîte des écureuils.
Nous avons d'ailleurs pu en apercevoir plusieurs fois.Sinon gîte très bien, caché un peu dans les bois.
Une très bonne semaine au calme en pleine nature.A recommander sans hésitation.

Le gite de l'écureuil porte très bien son nom, écureuils, nature et parc verdoyant entourent le gite.
L'accueil est chaleureux, les locaux sont irréprochables !

Bernie vacances en normandie
