Le Désiré

At the entrance to the Eure and Seine valleys, in a region of beautiful rolling countryside, Le Désiré offers a pleasant change of atmosphere with its mountain chalet feel. Cécile has also furnished and decorated it in this very warm spirit: wood-burning stove, cocooning lounge with cosy blankets, rough-hewn wooden furniture, either antique or homemade, indirect lighting for a cosy atmosphere and fun decorative objects. When it comes to comfort, we've thought of everything to make you feel at home, from the kitchen equipment for preparing delicious meals, to the excellent bedding, and even a bathtub for relaxation. The garden is all yours, on the edge of the Forest and facing the fields, with space to stretch your legs and furniture to enjoy the sunny days.
The region is full of superb places to discover: the Renaissance Château at Gaillon or the medieval Château at Les Andelys, panoramic views over the Seine or the Eure... You'll find all the shops you need just 5 km away.

Ground-floor entrance to warm living room: cosy lounge by the wood-burning stove, comfortable dining area and well-equipped open-plan kitchen. Large, bright bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, on one side a lovely bedroom with balcony, overlooking the Countryside and Forest (double bed 160x200 and a single bed as a back-up), and on the other a small attic bedroom, just as pretty (double bed). You'll enjoy a pleasant garden of around 500 m², entirely private and partially enclosed, on the edge of a wood. The Holiday cottage is located at the end of a residential park overlooking fields: petanque court at the entrance.
