Treat yourself to an unusual stay in a dovecote! All brick, white stone and octagonal, it looks great with its beautiful terrace in the middle of its vast garden planted with apple trees, a superb setting. In the background of this postcard is the Montfort state forest, which may surprise you with a visit from a roe deer at the bottom of your garden, but above all offers plenty of walks through its pines and spruces, as well as along the small surrounding paths. A little further on, the Risle valley, dotted with pretty little shopping villages, leads you to Pont Audemer, a typical little Norman Venice full of character, and why not to Honfleur and the coast, just 40 minutes away. The interior of the gîte is comfortable and pleasant, with a contemporary feel and pretty pastel hues.
Ground floor: entrance to living room with well-equipped, functional kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge: view and direct access to terrace and garden. Storage room and toilet with washbasin. On the 1st floor, a pretty little bedroom in blue-gray tones with a single bed and a view of the garden. Shower room with toilet. On the second floor, the attic double bedroom with exposed beams: 160x200 double bed, armchair and TV. You'll enjoy a 1400 m² private garden with a swing, slide and sandpit, on Pascal's large, fully enclosed property, close to a second, independent gîte.

Everything you need for a relaxed stay, inside and in the spacious garden. I would like to be back at the end of the summer to enjoy the fruit growing on the trees!
Inside there is a very complete kitchen and every appliance you might need.

The dovecote is a beautiful building in a wonderfully secluded garden, all enclosed within a gated fence. It feels very secure. The internal space is very well used, though we would suggest the couch be exchanged for two comfy chairs with the wooden drawers being moved next to wall next to the French doors. Table chairs are not comfortable for very long periods. The outside is perfect for sunny days and the area has much to commend it. We went to Giverny and Honfleur, with the market at Pont Audumer on Mondays and Fridays providing plenty to purchase. Occasional odours from the bathroom plumbing mean that a spray is very useful. We would definitely recommend it to couples and/or those with a small child.

Pipou Le colombier
Un agréable séjour dans ce magnifique colombier. Les propriétaires sont agréables très sympas et font preuve de discrétion. Le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable que ce soit à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Les chiens sont autorisés. L'espace est clos pour nos amis à quatre pattes. Le site propose un espace naturel à deux minutes à pied du gîte ( forêt campagne centre équestre).
