The Chalet de l'Abbesse is a charming little cottage in a superb setting in the Calonne valley. Beautiful, winding country roads lead you to Bailleul-la-Vallée, a lovely, typically Norman village. Set back from the river, this wooden cottage, l'Abbesse, is just the thing for vacations, in the middle of an acre just for you! You'll be enchanted all year round: on sunny days, the large terrace is a real additional living space, with a dining area, lounge, deckchairs and a spa overlooking the river, or inside the chalet, with its elegant, colorful decor and beautiful natural materials. Stéphanie and Olivier have designed it with attention to detail and your comfort in mind, in a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Just a stone's throw away, don't miss Cormeilles, a dynamic and charming village with nice shops.
The gîte is laid out on one level, on a raised ground floor (4 steps): entrance into the lovely, bright living room with its bay windows opening onto the large wooden terrace with a superb view of the garden, pond and river: cocooning lounge around the pellet stove, comfortable dining area and modern, well-equipped kitchen. The 2 elegant bedrooms each have their own en-suite shower room and toilet: the double bedroom, with a double bed, has access to the terrace on the side; the second has a single bed. There's also a practical laundry room with storage space, washing machine and tumble dryer. The large terrace features a dining area, a lounge area, deckchairs and a 5-person spa, accessible from May to the end of September. The large garden, bordered almost all around by the little river, is 5000 m², enclosed (by hedges and river) and private. The central pond is unprotected. Swing set. No telephone network on site.

Manu / Gisou Au calme à la campagne
Site très reposant et très calme, le chalet est très propre et très bien équipé il manque rien.
La pêche sur place, c'est une marre d'eau et à la demande au propriétaire elle approvisionne en truite. A deux pas sentiers pour de belles balades.- Cleanliness

Les bretons voyageur Un chalet cosy
Le gite est bien situé à la campagne, au calme. Très cosy avec tout le confort. Nous avons ete bien accueillis par la propriétaire. Par contre pas de réseau et pas de connexion gps. On s adapté. Nous n avons pas pu profité du spa à cause de la météo compliqué.

Kolff Un merveilleux séjour
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au chalet. La maison est entièrement équipée, joliment décorée et propre.
Le jardin est magnifique et très paisible.

Huub Perfect huis met prachtige tuin
Na een reis met veel vertraging stond Stephanie ons om 23:00 uur toch op te wachten bij de gite en nam de tijd om alles te laten zien en tekst en uitleg te geven.
Het huis is prachtig en zo goed als nieuw met alles erop en eraan (zoals bijvoorbeeld horren, smart-TV met satelietverbinding en een groot zonnig terras) en de tuin is geweldig; rustig met veel privacy en aan 2 kanten begrenst door een riviertje.
De locatie is lekker rustig en goed gelegen voor bezoek aan o.a. L'Abbaye de Jumiege, Rouen, La Bec Hellouec, Pays d'Auge, Château Champ de Bataille etc.

Pit Ferien in der Normandie
Das Ferienhaus mit dem Anwesen ist wunderschön. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist Top. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder!
