Here, you're in the heart of superb, typically Norman landscapes, between secret valleys and charming villages with traditional houses. Bailleul la Vallée is one of them, with one of its oldest houses at its heart, a genuine half-timbered thatched cottage that houses this Holiday cottage, l'Abbesse, named after the nearby stream. Christelle and Philippe have turned it into a warm cocoon where you'll feel right at home. We love the luminous living room under its ancient beams, with a kitchen ready for your favorite recipes and a cosy living room by the fireplace, the elegant bedrooms with top-quality bedding, an additional relaxation area on the landing for seclusion, and 2 beautiful travertine bathrooms. While Christelle put the finishing touches to the decor and details, Philippe put his carpenter's touch to the furniture. All around, a superb environment, starting with a well-kept garden, part of which is all yours, and plenty of space to enjoy the great outdoors!
Ground floor entrance to living room: modern, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area in front of the fireplace. Small checkroom, wc and laundry room. Large, bright bedroom overlooking the garden: double bed 160x200, desk and en-suite shower room. The staircase leads to the FIRST FLOOR, which opens onto a landing with a relaxation area. A lovely double bedroom with a view over the Countryside; king-size bed 180x200. A small attic bedroom with 2 90x200 Bunk beds, desk and bookcase for the little ones. Shower room with toilet. On the garden side, a large area of 3000 m², one part of which is private in front of your Holiday cottage with your own furniture (table, chairs, armchairs and deckchairs) and the other is shared with the adjoining Holiday cottage; superb, unobstructed view over the valley's meadows. Lots of shared outdoor games for Kids. Hiking in the valleys. Cerza: 11 km. Cormeilles: 8 km, charming village with shops. Deauville: 30 mn. D-Day beaches 1h/1h30.

Wir haben 12 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft verbracht und uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt .
Es handelt sich um ein altes Haus , welches sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll kernsarniert und eingerichtet wurde .
Alles ist auf modernem Stand . Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft einwandfrei sauber .
Wir wurden herzlich empfangen , sehr nette Vermieter !
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ländlich und abgeschieden , das wußten wir auch vorher .
Für uns war es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für wunderschöne Tagesausflüge !
( z.B . die Landungsstrände , Deauville , Honfleur , Rouen und Etretat )
Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr gerne und uneingeschränkt weiter !
Freut Euch auf eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Normandie !!!

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse et avons apprécié le calme et la tranquillité.Le gîte était complètement en ordre et très propre,joliment décoré et pratique.Les lits et la literie étaient super et les chambres ont des volets.L'hôtesse est très agréable et serviable.Ce gîte est fortement recommandé. 10/10
We hebben een fijne week gehad en hebben genoten van de rust .De gite is volledig in orde ,van alles voorzien ,heel erg proper en heel mooi ingericht.De bedden en beddengoed waren heel goed en de slaapkamers zijn voorzien van rolluiken.De gastvrouw is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.We raden deze gite heel erg aan en geven het 10/10.

Les voyageurs ! Exceptionnel !! Un séjour de rêve !
Abbesse est tout simplement exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour . Tout était impeccable et soigneusement conçu, ce qui rendait l'endroit très confortable et accueillant. Les chambres sont spacieuses, neuves et propres avec une literie confortable. Le lieu est calme: c'est vraiment apaisant !!
