A lovely little Holiday cottage for a peaceful or active break between Giverny and the banks of the Seine.

In the heart of the Seine River region, just a stone's throw from Giverny, La Margottine welcomes you. From this former carpentry workshop, Véronique and Philippe have created an adorable cocoon in which you immediately feel at home. Wood is always present, for a touch of warmth, in a modern, contemporary atmosphere: light colors, bright rooms, a fine mix of antique and contemporary furniture, top-of-the-range equipment and always a concern for your comfort, as in the living room with its soft sofas or in the bedrooms with well-chosen bedding; in the decor, Véronique's very successful works. You'll love relaxing in the garden, taking your meals in the shade of the awning or enjoying a game of table tennis in the outdoor shelter.
Here, you can enjoy all the advantages of the City in a peaceful Countryside atmosphere. There are plenty of leisure activities within walking distance, as well as shops and the nearby Château de Bizy.

On the ground floor, you enter the living room with its full height and through-illuminated ceiling, which opens onto the terrace via a large bay window: very comfortable living room with pellet stove, well-equipped kitchen with central island and dining area. Elegant double bedroom with skylight: 160x200 double bed (excellent bedding), closet and practical desk area. Bright bathroom with large walk-in shower, 2 basins and toilet. The staircase leads upstairs to the twin bedroom, with 2 90x200 beds, which is open to the ground floor. It's a great place for kids to play or relax. You'll enjoy a lovely terrace, covered if necessary by an awning, with furniture for al fresco dining, a small garden with flowers in fine weather, and a covered shelter for a game of table tennis, for example (approx. 100m² in total). Just next door, via a pedestrian alley, there's a communal play area for Kids.
