Spacious and perfectly designed for a stay with family, friends or a small business group, you'll fall under the spell of this holiday cottage, with its mix of design and modern materials, fifties-inspired vintage furniture, salvaged or antique objects and crockery, in an atmosphere that's Unusual, creative and artistic, with photos and works of art and an original, playful concept. A real sense of Wellbeing emanates from this eco-responsible timber-framed house, which is bright and open onto the garden thanks to generous glazing. You'll feel right at home, with plenty of leisure activities inside and out, an incredible library, DVD library, toys for the little ones and a top-notch kitchen!
An outside staircase leads to the entrance hall with checkroom. Large living room with convivial kitchen around the island, very well equipped with scullery, dining area and cosy sitting room near the stove, with a large library, board games, DVD player (over 100 DVDs), screen, video projector and home cinema for a real cinema experience! Upstairs, multi-purpose landing with lounge, 2 bedrooms (160x200 beds, separable), shower room, bathroom, separate wc. 2nd floor: 2 attic bedrooms separated by a walkway (160x200 beds, separable). J'ai fondé et dirigé durant 30 ans une entreprise d'encadrements d'œuvres d'art pour les musées, les fondations d'art contemporain...
Aujourd'hui, je me suis recentré sur ma petite ville et mes enfants.
Passionné d'architecture, j'ai plaisir à fabriquer des univers dans lesquels, j'espère que mes hôtes se sentiront bien.
La maison relais est une œuvre collective imaginée avec mes enfants et mes amis.
Elle propose une ambiance vintage et haut de gamme, entourée d'un beau jardin de 1 200 m² arboré.

Cette maison est fabuleuse. Malgré un temps mitigé, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette maison.
On est tout de suite comme à la maison.
La propreté est impeccable.
Beaucoup de livres, de jeux pour enfants... Le poêle chauffe la maison à lui tout seul.

Marianne Une maison d'exception !
La maison de Charly est exceptionnelle dans sa conception architecturale et énergétique. Elle est aussi très bien équipée. Nous y avons fêté la nouvelle année et sommes repartis sous la neige. Tout y est bien conçu, en ce compris pour les petits (nous étions 10, incluant deux petits enfants et un bébé). Une belle salle de jeu, des lits adaptés, une chaise haute et même un chauffe-biberons, tout y était ! Le poêle à pellets diffusait une belle chaleur dans toute la maison et le jardin était parfait pour notre chien, qui pouvait aussi courir dans un petit bois derrière la maison. Les deux salles-de-bains sont très fonctionnelles et la grande bibliothèque nous a permis de découvrir des ouvrages d'art et de nombreuses BD ! La maison expose aussi des oeuvres d'artistes (peintures, photographies) dont certains sont de belles découvertes :-)
Par contre, ne comptez pas trop faire vos courses à pied, la remontée depuis Gaillon est assez abrupte. Il faut donc prendre la voiture, tant pour les courses que pour les excursions.

Coco Noël en famille
Nous avons passé un super Noël en famille dans la maison relais. La maison est très spacieuse, chaleureuse, très fonctionnelle, la cuisine super bien équipée, on se sent vite comme chez soi.
Nous avons apprécié le grand espace de vie, baignée de lumière avec ses grandes baies, le salon où nous avons passé de supers moments au chaud près du poële la bibliothèque remplies de livres, bd et jeux pour passer de supers moments en famille.
Les enfants ont apprécié l'espace jeux qui débordent de trouvailles !
Merci à Charly pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité, sa réactivité et ses gentilles attentions, notamment le sapin fait maison.
Dommage c'était un peu court, nous reviendrons pour profiter des extérieurs et visiter les alentours.
