A charming Holiday cottage located in Le Bec Hellouin, one of France's most beautiful villages: the 11th-century abbey, still occupied by monks, is open to visitors all year round. Le Bec Hellouin is easily accessible by freeway or public transport: 45mn from Rouen, 1h from Caen, 1h from Giverny, 1h30 from Paris, 1h30 from the D-Day landing beaches... Nearby, you'll find a Base de loisirs nautique with canoeing and kayaking, horse-riding clubs, castles to visit (Battlefield, Harcourt, Beaumesnil...), a zoo, and electric bike rental for the greenway that passes through the village.

Calm and serenity are the words that best define this 18th-century building, in the heart of the superb village of Le Bec Hellouin, listed as one of France's "most beautiful villages". The stone and half-timbered house is an authentic Norman construction, full of character and blending charm with modern comforts. The small walled garden, full of flowers in fine weather, is the ideal place for a siesta or to read in a deckchair. You're just a stone's throw from the abbey, the greenway and the Forest, in the magnificent landscapes of the Bec valley, a Natura 2000 area. Enjoy this beautiful environment, where flora and fauna are particularly well protected. The Risle River is also nearby, ideal for fishing or canoeing. The Bec, Risle and Charentonne valleys are well known to the locals, who make Le Bec Hellouin a favorite stopover on their Hiking trips. The Holiday cottage has also been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label.

Ground floor: entrance to the living room, warm and full of character: it opens onto the terrace and garden and communicates directly with the kitchen. Separate shower room and toilet. ON THE FIRST FLOOR, you enter a lovely landing room with single bed, TV and reading corner. Next door, a lovely bedroom with double bed, shower room and toilet. ON THE 2nd FLOOR: accessed via a narrow 18th-century staircase, an attic bedroom with a single bed and a double bed that can be split into two. Garden and terrace with table and chairs, barbecue, deckchairs and hammock. Views over the valley and Forest. For electric cars, a self-service charging station is available 50m from the Holiday cottage. A plus for protecting the planet: the Holiday cottage is accessible by Public transport (3 buses a day in both directions). A bike repair kit and protective tarpaulin are also available for cyclists.
