la Maison de Lorette

A pretty Normandy postcard is the setting for Maison de Lorette. Traditional with its half-timbering and jay tail, Michèle's family home has preserved its character while entering a new century: whitewashed beams, exposed half-timbering and a fine Norman cupboard sit side by side with a contemporary decor in light tones, enhanced by contemporary colors, in a soft, cheerful atmosphere. The comfort is there, between the cosy living room by the wood-burning stove and the top-notch kitchen, and the spacious Holiday cottage with generous, light-filled rooms, all opening onto the garden and surrounding Countryside. In the middle of this large garden, the house is also in the Countryside, surrounded by pastures where cows wander between the apple trees.
All around, there are many superb walks along the small roads of the bocage or in the valley. You can also walk to Cormeilles, a charming, typical town with colorful houses and good shops and restaurants.

Entrance to the living room from the terrace, with on one side a cosy living room by the wood-burning stove (connected TV and PS4 console), and on the other a very comfortable dining area. Separated by workshop-style glazing, the kitchen is very well equipped, with a second small dining area for two; it also opens onto the terrace. Separate toilet. Upstairs, two good-sized attic bedrooms with TV and double bed. Attractive shower room with corner shower, double basin unit and wc. The house benefits from a large, entirely private 1000 m² garden in the middle of grassland, with a large front terrace perfect for spending quality time: lounge and dining area, barbecue and deckchairs.
