Nestled in a charming little corner of the Countryside—just the way we like it—peaceful and idyllic, with fields stretching as far as the eye can see to the edge of the Forest, La Grange au Blé d’Or is a charming vacation spot. Dominique and Laurence have created a holiday cottage entirely dedicated to your wellbeing and leisure activities during your stay. Truly spacious, it’s full of amenities and thoughtful touches, starting with its elegant and warm atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home: open spaces and plenty of light, preserved features of this historic barn that has stood the test of time—such as the beautiful old beams, colorful wallpaper with botanical patterns, plush rugs, chic or whimsical decorative items, cozy relaxation areas, and a constant focus on your comfort throughout. The recreational offerings are top-notch: foosball, a music area with a stereo system, synthesizer, and guitar, board games, and even more games in the garden: badminton, skittles, balls, and more... The garden, all yours, opens up all around to the fields (you might even be lucky enough to spot a deer in the early morning!) and there are various lovely spots to settle in and enjoy beautiful days: under the pergola or the big oak tree, in the cozy relaxation corner, on a lounge chair wherever you like, or on the lawn to play.
The owners live next door, completely independently, and will be happy to recommend places to visit and local favorites in the region, such as the Eure Valley, Pacy-sur-Eure, and Evreux, or Gisacum, a must-see archaeological site just a stone’s throw away.

The entrance on the ground floor opens onto a sunroom with a sitting area and a dining area (heated by the sun). The holiday cottage continues upstairs with a large living area divided into several comfortable spaces: a living room, a cozy nook with two leather sofas facing the TV and an electric fireplace, a game area with a foosball table and board games, a space with a desk dedicated to music (stereo system, synthesizer, guitar), a very comfortable dining area, and a very well-equipped kitchen with a cozy island. Views of the fields and Forest on one side, and the garden on the other. Two lovely bedrooms with desks and closets, one with a double bed and the other with two 90x200 single beds. A beautiful, bright bathroom with a large shower and two sinks. Separate toilet with a hand-washing basin.
You’ll enjoy a private, enclosed garden (fenced with a hedge or railings) featuring a dining area under the pergola, a relaxation area with a bench, sun loungers, and another shaded spot under the large oak tree. You also have access to a large grassy area, perfect for playing ball. For groceries: a small grocery store is 1.5 km away in the village.
