Designed as a true gathering place in the heart of a charming village, La Granch’ offers you the kind of stay we love—genuine, authentic, and welcoming. Gaëlle and Jean-Mickaël, who are passionate about historic heritage and nature lovers, extend a warm welcome and share their passions and in-depth knowledge of this superb little corner of Normandy: in the village, the Château d’Harcourt and its arboretum—featuring an illuminated trail in winter—the incredible Château du Champ de Bataille, just 6 km away, or the historic village and Bec Hellouin Abbey, 9 km away, which you can reach via the greenway. In this elegant half-timbered building, everything has been renovated to the highest standards and with an ecological approach: local, natural, bio-based materials (clay, wood, flax shives, terracotta, hemp), secondhand or handmade furniture, and the garden is naturally managed to promote biodiversity, featuring beehives and an LPO bird sanctuary. And it really feels like home! You’ll enjoy a very cozy living area where you can settle in however you like. The decor is creative and original—both soft and colorful—and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, even playful in the family room: a real favorite!

On the ground floor, the spacious and inviting living area features a living room with a view of the garden, books, and board games, as well as a flexible dining area and a kitchenette. The “Accord Parfait” bedroom offers independent outdoor access from the terrace and opens directly onto the living area: terracotta tiles, half-timbering, and earthen plaster walls, “workshop-style” windows, and musical-themed decor; double bed (160x200), desk, separate shower room and toilet. UPSTAIRS: A landing with a small relaxation area leads, on one side, to the “A bicyclette” bedroom with hardwood floors, earthen walls and half-timbering, rattan, and antique furniture; double bed (160x200), desk, and a bathroom opening onto the bedroom; separate toilet. On the other side is the large family bedroom, “A tout trèfle”: unique and colorful, it features an entryway with a desk separated from the sleeping area—accessible via the preserved roof trusses and three steps—by a double bed (160x200) and a sunken attic alcove with three single beds (high-quality futon beds); bathroom with toilet. Beautiful terrace opening onto the tree-lined garden with furniture for relaxing and dining. Games are available: trampoline, swing, and skittles on-site, as well as a fitness trail, pétanque, and a playground in the village. The Evreux/Le Bec Hellouin greenway is 1.9 km away. Outdoor parking is available right next door, but on-site parking is also possible: 2 spaces.
