A typical Norman cottage, this gîte has been superbly restored to offer a high level of comfort. The quality of the fittings, equipment and decoration make it a superb address close to the Normandy coast, while benefiting from a large private garden planted with trees. Just a stone's throw from a small, friendly City and its shops.
Ground floor entrance to charming living room with dining area and fireplace, fully equipped kitchen opening onto garden. Deauville bedroom with 160x200 double bed (separable if required), shower room with separate toilet and laundry room. UPSTAIRS: the large Nohant bedroom with double bed 160x200 and balcony, and the small Honfleur bedroom with double bed 140x200 and bathroom (balneo) with wc. On the other side, a cosy mezzanine TV room with a convertible sofa (2 pers. 160x200). 3000 m² enclosed private wooded garden with garden furniture, sun loungers and charcoal barbecue. Deposit to be paid via Swikly (online deposit, no deposit cheque). Wifi throughout Holiday cottage.

En tout premier lieu, j'ai écrit au propriétaire pour lui faire part de notre satisfaction. Sa chaumière est un vrai bijou :tout y est; tout est indiqué; tout est propre. - Les lits étaient faits - la personne qui nous a accueillis a été très compétente et avec une très touchante amabilité. - Nous étions 5 : notre fils et ses deux plus jeunes enfants, tous les deux "fana" de foot !Ils ont pu jouer tout à leur aise dans le très beau jardin privé - Aucun bruit, sauf le matin, le bêlement d'un âne !Dès notre retour nous avons recommandé cette demeure à un couple d'amis proches. Cette chaumière et le cadre sont tout simplement "TOP" ! Merci de nous l'avoir conseillée.

La famille A. Très beau séjour en famille
Nous avons passé un très beau séjour en famille dans cette belle maison normande. On sent que les propriétaire chouchoutent cette maison. Très grand jardin dans lequel les enfants peuvent se dépenser et regarder les vaches à travers la clôture.

La chaumière est bien rénovée avec le respect de l authenticité. Très jolie .
Salon du rez de chaussée trop petit pour 5 et pas très confortable !

Wes A Wonderful Family Stay
We had an excellent family stay at the Chaumière du Clos Normand in Epaignes with our two children, aged 11 and 9. The house is incredibly comfortable, impeccably maintained, and very well-equipped. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and we especially appreciated the practical kitchen, the cozy fireplace, and the efficient central heating.
The garden is large enough for outdoor games, which our kids loved, and the absolute calm of the surroundings made it a perfect retreat. The property is conveniently located near Epaignes, a charming village with many amenities such as a bakery, butcher, hairdressers, grocery store, post office, and pharmacy.
Its location is ideal for exploring Normandy, being equidistant from Rouen, Caen, and Le Havre, with quick access to Pont-Audemer, Cormeilles, and Honfleur.
The all-inclusive pricing was very convenient but felt slightly on the higher side. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we highly recommend!- Cleanliness
