Treat yourself to a truly Norman stay at La Chaumière aux hortensias! You'll fall under the spell of this adorable traditional timber-framed house topped with thatch and iris, nestled in the heart of a hectare of manicured parkland, planted with trees and flowers including magnificent hydrangeas: plenty of space to relax, play with the family, have a drink or dine al fresco! Inside, Michèle has created a warm, elegant cocoon with your comfort in mind: meticulously decorated, with pretty antique furniture in a contemporary setting, in light, soothing tones; the house opens out onto the garden through its bay windows.
The region is superb: in the heart of the Parc naturel des boucles de la Seine normande, the Marais Vernier is just 3 km away: a vast nature reserve, one of the largest peat bogs in Europe. Perhaps you'll come across a stork, a Camargue horse or a Scottish Highland cow?
SINGLE-STOREY HOLIDAY COTTAGE. The entrance leads into a warm living room with comfortable leather furniture and a spacious dining area overlooking the garden. Well-equipped separate kitchen with small dining area. Two pretty, bright bedrooms: the first overlooks the garden and can be set up as a double bed (160x200) or 2 twins; the second offers a double bed (160). Separate shower room and toilet. There's also a practical covered shed. The Holiday cottage is surrounded by a 3,000 m² garden, with its own parking area, on the spacious, enclosed one-hectare property shared with Michèle and Guy; garden furniture in front of the Holiday cottage and under the trees, lounge area and deckchairs. Badminton available. You're 1.6km from the GR23.

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et charmants .
Gîte très fonctionnel , très propre et très bien équipé.
Le cadre extérieur est très agréable et magnifiquement fleuri .
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et envisageons d’y retourner.
Cette location mériterait amplement un épi supplémentaire.

La charmante chaumière
5/5Un super séjour dans un gîte vraiment top ! Le logement est propre, cosy, très bien équipé et on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Un grand merci à la propriétaire, chaleureuse et toujours aux petits soins, qui a su rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable grâce à ses petites attentions et ses bons conseils. On recommande les yeux fermés et on reviendra avec plaisir !

5/5Un vrai bijou, la chaumière est devenue un gîte superbe, le tout moderne et confortable,l'immense jardin si beau, l'acceuil de Michèle charmante, l'endroit calme mais près de Pont Audemer (ne manquez pas le musée Alfred Canel, le marché fermier vendredi) et les abbayes. On dort bien sur le nouveau grand lit, aux chants des oiseaux. Grand merci!

La propriétaire de cette belle propriété nous a réservé le plus bel accueil.
Rien ne manque au sein de ce gite situé dans un environnement calme, ce qui permet de se ressourcer pleinement.
