Treat yourself to a stay under the stars, close to the treetops in the heart of the forest! This former water tower has been converted into an atypical, warm and inviting vacation home, all decked out in wood and iron. When it comes to comfort, nothing has been left to chance, and Cloé and Laurent have thought of everything to make your stay here as pleasant as possible, despite the constraints of this incredible building. The gîte is laid out like a large loft on 5 levels, right up to the panoramic bedroom at the very top. Every space is well thought out and cocooned in a warm, contemporary atmosphere, with the little extras provided by Chloé. As for the garden, there's a space just for you around the gîte, with your own relaxing furniture, and access to the whole estate, including a part of the forest perfect for short walks or wildlife watching.
This region between the Seine valley and Vexin Normand is superb, starting with Giverny, 4 km away.
Ground floor entrance to kitchen, equipped as a large one, with dining area. WC with washbasin. On the 1st floor, the living room, nice and bright with tv (chromecast). On 2nd floor, a lovely, comfortable shower room. On the 3rd floor, an additional toilet with washbasin, conveniently close to the bedroom (separate but not partitioned). Finally, on the 4th floor, the staircase leads to the superb double bedroom with a 180x200 double bed; from its 3 windows, it offers an unobstructed view of the forest and grassland, where you can watch the passing wildlife, roe deer, hinds and wild rabbits. You'll enjoy a private outdoor space just in front of the kitchen, with garden furniture and deckchairs. There's also a pétanque court, shared with the other gîte (studio), and access to the whole property for walks. Cloé and Laurent are your neighbors. Cot and highchair available, reversible air conditioning. Reinforced sockets for recharging your electric car. Excellent village bakery.

Séjour atypique et agréable
5/5L'accueil est très agréable. Cloé fait preuve de nombreuses petites attentions qui rendent encore plus agréable le séjour. Le gîte est bien conçu et Cloé a beaucoup de goût, la décoration nous a beaucoup plu.

5/5Ce logement tellement atypique dans son décor bucolique (....les petits lapins sur l'herbe!...) est une réjouissance! Restauré avec tellement de goût et de charme, vous y ajoutez l'accueil attentionné, généreux et souriant de Cloé, vous obtenez un séjour de 2 jours ressourçant au possible dans cette ambiance réellement reposante et zénifiante! Ne pas oublier enfin de dire combien le gite est parfaitement équipé!
Ah,le réveil tout là haut avec le soleil qui pointait dans les feuillages des arbres à proximité: "une fête", vraiment!....- Cleanliness 5/5

Très bon petit gâteau de bienvenue fait-maison.

A bedroom high in the trees
5/5We had a lovely stay in this very unusual accommodation. A remarkable transformation from a water tower to a first class gite. Set within the forest and many tame rabbits eating the grass and chickens all around.
Cloe looked after us and we had some special treats from her kitchen.
We could walk to the small village which had a boulangerie and restaurant. Also a short walk to a brewery which was open at the weekend. A ten minute drive to Vernon and fifteen minutes to Giverny. Plus lots of chateaux within short drives.
We had a wonderful time and would recommend this accommodation for anyone who doesn’t mind climbing all the steps.- Cleanliness 5/5
