This former presbytery dating from the late 18th century is an elegant family home with typical half-timbered walls that Hervé is keen to bring up to date. The second floor is now a very pleasant, light-filled Holiday cottage, with beautiful rooms all on high ceilings. The atmosphere is delightful, with family heirlooms and antique furniture adorning the rooms, which are typical of these beautiful old houses, with their exposed beams, large windows, decorative fireplaces and antique cupboards.
You're in the heart of a lovely Roumois village, on the edge of the Forest de Brotonne, which covers an entire meander of the Seine. The scenery is superb, with incredible panoramic views of the river, walks through fields of flax and wheat, through woods and picturesque villages. In terms of leisure activities, you can start your program with a visit to the local eco-museums: Maison du Sabotier, Four à Pain, Jardin des Herbes Sauvages, the astonishing thousand-year-old yew trees converted into chapels and, 3 km away, the Maison du Linen.

The entrance on the ground floor leads to the staircase to the second floor. The entrance to the apartment leads to the living room, on the right, with the kitchen, dining area and cosy sitting area; unobstructed views of the garden and village. On the other side are the 2 charming bedrooms, with parquet flooring and fitted closets: one with 2 single beds and a desk, the other with a 160x200 double bed. Bathroom with shower, vanity unit and toilet, washing-machine area. On the garden side, you have your own private garden furniture area, in the shade of the trees, on the large enclosed property where you have access to around 500 m² recently planted with beautiful trees. There's also a second Holiday cottage for 5 people on the side of the large house. Table tennis and badminton for outdoor play (to be shared with the second Holiday cottage), board games for indoors.
