You're in the midst of superb, typically Norman landscapes, between secret valleys and charming villages with traditional houses. Bailleul la Vallée is one of them, at the gateway to the Pays d'Auge, with one of its oldest houses at its heart, a veritable thatched cottage housing this Holiday cottage, La Calonne, named after the nearby river. Christelle and Philippe have turned it into a warm cocoon where you'll feel right at home. We love the light-filled, full-height living room with a kitchen ready for your favorite recipes and a cocooning lounge, the large, elegant bedroom with its top-quality bedding, as well as the small attic space perfect for Kids with its library and reading corner, and the beautiful travertine shower room. While Christelle put the finishing touches to the decor and details, Philippe put his carpenter's touch to the furniture. All around, a superb environment, starting with a well-kept garden, part of which is all yours, and plenty of space to enjoy the great outdoors!

Ground floor: entrance to the bright living room opening onto the garden, with a full-height, modern, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and a cosy lounge next door. Beautiful, elegant bedroom with 180x200 double bed, armchairs and large antique wardrobe. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. THE FIRST FLOOR has an attic and is open to the ground floor: small bedroom with sleeping area and 2 single beds (90x200), and a Kids' relaxation area with books and toys. On the garden side, a large area of 3000 m², part of which is private in front of your Holiday cottage with your own furniture (table, chairs, armchairs and deckchairs), and the other is shared with the adjoining Holiday cottage; superb, unobstructed view over the valley's meadows.
