Among the secret corners of the Risle valley, you'll fall under the spell of this region between the typical village of La Ferrière-sur-Risle and the Beaumont forest. In the woods, the Chen'Houx gîte promises a real break from the hustle and bustle! As soon as you enter the little lane, you'll feel right at home, peaceful and rejuvenating. Fanny and Brice open the doors of this friendly home, where everything has been thought of for your vacation: games in the garden or woods for young and old, deckchairs for relaxing under the trees, meals al fresco on the terrace with barbecue, cocooning moments in the living room by a roaring fire after a walk, board games and children's games. The decor is warm and inviting, and the gîte is very well equipped. The property is an LPO (Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux - League for the Protection of Birds) refuge.
There's a lot to discover in the region, from Beaumesnil and its castle to Conches and its museums, and Bernay, a town of art and history.

BUNGALOW Gîte. Entrance with checkroom, modern kitchen, living room with comfortable dining area and sitting area in front of the fireplace: the room opens onto the terrace and communicates with the kitchen via a semi-opening. 2 bedrooms: the double with double bed and the triple with 3 single beds opening directly onto the terrace. Bathroom with shower and heated towel rail; separate wc. The large enclosed garden (fenced and gated...ideal for letting your pet roam free without it escaping! :-) ) is around 2000 m², with a wooded garden area featuring a swing, slide and trampoline, and a sloping wooded area that little adventurers will love. There's also a pétanque court in the shade. Nice terrace with barbecue. The gîte is located in a large residential area in the heart of the woods.
You're just 1.4 km from the GR224, but also at the heart of a host of walking trails. Flea market every 3rd Sunday of the month at La Ferrière-sur-Risle.
