From the Risle valley, follow the small winding roads through the superb Montfort forest: right on the edge, the Gîte du Chastel offers a beautiful bubble of oxygen, facing fields as far as the eye can see. The house has been refurbished and is very welcoming, with modern equipment and comforts, contemporary decor and a few pieces of antique furniture, a nod to its origins. You'll find all the hallmarks of a true vacation home, with plenty of space to sit comfortably both inside and out, deckchairs and garden furniture perfect for enjoying the great outdoors, on the wooden terrace or in the shade of the ash trees, games ... Cécile and Samson, your neighbors, will give you a warm welcome and tell you all about their beautiful region, between the Seine and Risle valleys, close to the Côte Fleurie or Pont-Audemer, a small town with character and narrow streets along the water.
Holiday cottage on one level: entrance into the large living room with its modern, functional kitchen, comfortable dining area and cosy lounge with sofa (convertible for emergency use) and 2 armchairs; digital TV. The room offers access to the wooden terrace, on the intimate rear side, or to the garden on the other side, under the fresnes. A half-step leads to the two pastel-toned bedrooms, one with a large 160x200 double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Attractive bathroom with large walk-in shower, vanity unit, towel warmer and washing machine area; separate toilet next door. The garden is spacious (600 m²), completely private and enclosed. Table tennis. Plenty of local walks to the Forest or GR 224.

Oliver Vacances en Normandie du 19 juillet au 2 août
Nous avons passé de superbes vacances, calme, repos, balades, très beau gîte bien agencé, tout équipé il ne manque rien, tout y est ... La terrasse fleurie est tout aussi agréable même si le soleil n'était pas souvent au rendez-vous.
Terrain clôturé et sécurisé pour notre petit chien qui s'est bien amusé et qui s'est fait copain avec le beau cheval qui se trouvait dans la pâture voisine.
Nous reviendrons passer un séjour sans problème, les propriétaires sont très accueillants, sympathiques,et très dévoués... Merci à Cécile pour sa bonne humeur, son sourire, petit cadeau à l'arrivée,les raquettes pour faire de belles parties de ping-pong. Encore merci à vous et bonne continuation... Au plaisir de revenir dans votre belle région

Très très belle prestation. Gîte de qualité, aménagé avec goût. La literie est excellente. La propreté irréprochable. Décor champêtre au calme absolu.
Les Hôtes sont de charmantes personnes, très soucieuses de notre bien être. Merci Cécile et Samson pour vos diverses attentions et votre grande gentillesse.

Eva ein Ort zum Entspannen - ein wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir haben im Gite du Chastel zwei wundervolle Wochen verbracht.
Das Haus ist gepflegt, hat Charme und es ist alles für eine entspannte Urlaubszeit vorhanden: Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind sehr bequem, es gibt verschieden Möbel und Sonnenschirme für die Terrasse und der Garten lädt zum Relaxen ein.
An heißen Tagen war das Haus angenehm und an kühlen Abenden konnten wir es ohne Probleme heizen.
Familie Paquin kümmerte sich sehr aufmerksam um uns: Brauchten wir etwas, wurde uns schnell geholfen. Ansonsten waren wir komplett ungestört.
Wir haben im Gite die Ruhe und die Natur in vollen Zügen genossen. Wir lieben die ländliche Normandie, es gibt in direkter Umgebung reizende kleine Orte. Aber auch zur Küste - mir ihren bekannten Badeorten - ist man schnell gefahren.- Cleanliness

Valérie Week-end normand en famille
Gite très confortable et très bien équipé,situé dans un environnement verdoyant, calme et reposant entre mer et campagne.
Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Un séjour que nous aurions aimé prolonger après ce long week-end de l'Ascension. Nous ne manquerons pas de renouveler cette expérience une autre fois.

Une location que je recommande sans problème. Nos hôtes ont été supers, encore merci pour toutes vos attentions. C'est un endroit paisible. Notre chien a bien profiter du jardin clôturé. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans cette régions. Les Normands sont très accueillants ça fait plaisir.
